Dont Believe the Hype! Wait there’s two of them? Twice the hype! haha Check out these guys, Chris and Ruben. Their great and they get down with the LA scene. Spinning at all the hottest clubs such as Heist and at all the hottest party events such as Danceworks. They both have been spinning together for the past three years. They loved music as far back as they can remember. Chris, “Music is a big part of my life! I remember singing, Ice Ice Baby by Vanilla Ice when I was kid all the time!” Ruben, “Music means everything to me. I've always loved it probably even when I was in my mommy’s tummy.” Their first event together was at SWERVE, down on Hollywood Blvd. They played with Dj Skyler and Daniel LeDisko from LA Riots that night. Their most memorable events were spinning at INFOCUS & Heist. They are currently interested in doing raves. So hit them up promoters! And we should soon look out for t-shirts and stickers. These guys are busy busy! Check out their two remixes below,

The Rolling Movie is said to “hit the spot” and even more than that! Different types of people are shown taking ecstasy in this movie, from adults to teens. And as you watch it you are able to see the different side effects of ecstasy. This movie has really been spreading, I think far beyond expected. I’m so fucking stoked to see this! DVDs will be coming out in early 2009, but has been premiering at film festivals around the US. It’s a two Audience Award Winning Movie from San Francisco Independent and Evil City Film Fest. Make sure you go out and watch this movie then spread the video.

Alex Zelenka is one talented likeable guy who lives and breathes music. Zelenka, “Honestly I have a whole bunch of things about to come out I just did a remix for Crystal Castles, (Canada) Garbo, (Chile) as well as a few music videos that will be featured on V-H1, (South America) multi release's on Kompute Musik, and Prosthetic Pressings featured on Beatport and just about all the digital download sites.” Zelenka started dj-ing when he was 13 years old. “I heard my first mix tape in the Westside of Chicago, and it was a combination of tech, booty, and freestyle house music, and I was so charmed by it that I started collecting retro and current vinyl to attempt to deejay tracks.” His first gig took place in 1996; he remembers being really drunk and nervous, he ended up only playing 2 tracks. The event had over 900 people there and was hosted by Bobby Digital in Chicago. Zelenka was able to share his music to a much larger crowd after these few most memorable events: a Party Monster Tour with superstar Dj Keoki, releasing vinyl on an international level, making tracks for TV, radio, and film for Busch Gardens Theme Park. “This also gave me the chance to buy tools to engineer in new ways.” What more can we ask for? Alex Zelenka is amazing!
"To me music means life , whenever I would feel alone or scared music would be that light at the end of the tunnel."
